Amazing vibes, amazing places. João is a Great Guide, He took me to surf allways with no restrictions, allways making me feel safe and confortable in the water, made allot friend´s with him, that know I keep in touch.
I can only recomend João for surf Guide. It was great!

I bookd a session on a short notice for the next morning, buteverything was very uncomplicated.
João even lent me one of his wetsuits and a board for a small fee, because I couldn´t make it to the surf shop.
Next morning he was on time for the pickup and we drove to numerous spots for an hour, before we found one that was suitable for my skill level. Once we were in the water, he occasionally checked on me.
All in all, I can recommend it!

Joao is a legendary surfguide. He breaths surfing and ocean living. He has the ocean vibe. Always busy checking the forecast and trying to find the best ride. Always ready to help out. If you need a board, a repair, a good bite, a strong coffee,... . He knows everyone and has knowledge of the local surf vibe. For me he is a reference for surfing the Algarve. If it's your first time Algarve and you want to get the most out of your days? I highly recommend this fisherman. If it's your 100th time Algarve, I'm sure this guy will show you something new and will feed your soul.

Meeting João and Sara was great. They picked me up at my house in time with the wetsuit and board ready. We surfed the spots and the conditions looked good so we surfed for a while and got a cool drink afterwards! Sharing stories and laughter. They even took pictures and videos which is so special to have. I ended up staying near Lagos for another 2 days just for them to guide me surfing and they felt like new friends! Joao was respectful and great at getting to know my level and finding waves suitable for me - making sure not too big but not too small. He really cared about finding the right waves and watching me catch some. Surfing in Portugal is a dream and surfing with 2 locals is the best part! Also, Sara has a craft brand called Natura do Mar that I highly recommend you check out! Thank you friends!
